Toontown offers a product that they no longer support to the extent the service represented is equal to what is paid for. You pay for 30 days of play and you get Days of OFF Line for Maintenance and or Interrupted Game Play by a Plague of Resets.
It does not matter what the cause of the problem is, Disney is collecting the money for the service being purchased. They should fix the problem and refund a reasonable number of days for the bad service they have provided.
Many subscribers will be terminating at the end of their current month and will not return as paying players.
I pay for three yearly accounts. After an entire week of resetting or whatever they were doing (we kept getting kicked out during the 3rd race of grand prix, and tickets are not given back), not the entire site has been down for 2 days!!
I will not be renewing the memberships I currently pay for unless Toontown gives me a refund or credit for the 2 weeks of interrupted service. They're 'reasoning' is always 'it's a live site and there will be problems'. My Granddaughter has memberships on 3 other interactive sites and this NEVER happens. One time there was an issue, she couldn't stay logged in, and they gave us a credit of one week.
Even the cable company credits you when your service is down, don't Disney, one of the wealthiest companies in the world! :(
